What to Expect
Welcome to Christian Life Church!
Christian Life Church is a spirit-led, contemporary, non-denominational church and a place that you can truly call home. We are located in Eliot, Maine on Route 236.
Our Sunday Worship services begin at 9:00 and 11:00 A.M. Feel free to come and worship with us in an upbeat spirit-filled setting. Hear teachings and lessons that apply to real, everyday life challenges and struggles that we all go through. Whether you have never been to a church service or have grown up in the church, we teach things that relate to people at all levels and places in their lives. You just might be surprised that you have a good time while learning about God and how He can bring peace and fulfillment to your life.
What is a Service Like?
When you come to CLC, expect to be greeted by many friendly faces. Our Parking Ministry is available to help assist you in finding the parking that suites your needs. We have handicap spaces available and do our best to provide close parking for families with infants. Rain or shine, our Parking Ministers are more than willing to give you a hand during inclement weather. They are ready with a smile and an umbrella to keep you dry! If you are planning to attend service and need any special assistance, please feel free to call ahead and let us know and we will be more than happy to be of service with any special accommodations.
Our Usher & Greeter Ministry is here to provide you with a warm and informative welcome; they are there to help you with any questions you may have about the service or the facility. A greeter will be at the door passing out our church program that is a monthly brochure of all that is going on in our church. Inside your program you will find any handouts or special announcements that may be relative to the service. Take a look at this month’s program and see what’s going on at CLC.
We have a Children’s Ministry that includes the age range of newborns to 12 years old. Our Youth Ministry is geared toward 13 to 18 years of age. If you have children of any age, the Ushers & Greeters are also available to assist you with where to go and who our Ministry Directors are for the age range of your kids. If you would like a tour of the facility just ask an Usher or Greeter and they will help you get to know our church. Take a look at the layout of our church if you would like, so that you will know in advance where our childrens classrooms are located. We are fully handicap accessible and are more than happy to lend a hand. Should you need any help with seating arrangements, our Ushers will be glad to assist you.
Once you have made it to your seat, you can expect an atmosphere where the love of God can be freely expressed. We open our service with a welcome and lead into a time of Praise and Worship orchestrated by our Music Ministry. Our Praise and Worship is the first 30 minutes of each service. The music is contemporary and ranges from upbeat to a more intimate atmosphere of worship. Take a look at our Music Ministry Page where you can get a feel for our style of praise and worship songs.
After Praise and Worship, we get into our message. Along with our Senior Pastors, we have a variety of talented Pastors and Ministers that have been trained through the ministry of Churches in the Lead, as well as Guest Speakers from around the world, that appeal to all people of all ages. The average message is approximately 40 to 45 minutes in length.
We close each service with a time of prayer, both corporately as a church, and individually. At this time our Altar Ministry is available for anyone who would like one-on-one prayer for whatever is going on in your life, family, job or any other circumstance. The ministry and faith-filled prayers that we provide at the altar is in a safe and private setting. At CLC, we believe that God desires to touch His people with His love and with His power. Because Jesus Christ possesses the same power to touch your life today, as He did when He walked the earth. We welcome you to come up and allow us to stand in agreement with you for God’s divine intervention as we minister to you regarding any challenges you may be facing.
After service we have coffee and light refreshments and we invite you to have some time to fellowship and meet someone new. It’s also an opportunity to check out all that is going on at CLC. More information on all of our upcoming events and ministries is always available in the lobby as well as in our program.
What should I wear?
We believe that you should come as you are. Some of us choose to wear a shirt and tie to services. Others prefer jeans and t-shirts. Others may come straight from their job in their work clothes. Our focus is not on our clothing, but on our God. Come as you are and worship the Lord!
