O Jerusalem, I have posted watchmen on your walls; they will pray day and night, continually. Take no rest, all you who pray to the Lord. ⁷ Give the Lord no rest until he completes his work, until he makes Jerusalem the pride of the earth.

Isaiah 62:6-7

We are encouraged to be persistent in our prayer, as watchman that He has placed on the walls of our city. We are called to stand guard in the night season every looking, ever prevailing for the safety of the land.  We are being challenged in this hour to “take no rest,”  that means do not back off or back up, but press in and prevail for His Kingdom to come and His will to be done in our lives and those with whom He has called to influence.  God responds to a heart of faith that is persistent and unrelenting.  So arise, stay awake and be unrelenting in your prayers, for surely He will respond!

The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.
