Forging Ahead In Trustful Hope – Day 18
March 26, 2011“Faith is daring the soul to go beyond what the eyes can see.”
Faith is a living force that shapes the world around us. Faith has a structural make-up, therefore faith has an anatomy. Faith has eyes; eyes that see beyond the natural, beyond weakness, beyond humanity and impossibility, because faith has vision and not just sight.
Vision is a clear picture of a preferable future –Vision is the act and power of imagination; it is seeing inward, what one desires outwardly; it the precursor to faith’s conception; it’s the substance of things hoped for…
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Hebrews 11:1
Imagination in its proper sense signifies a lively conception of objects of sight. (Webster’s online dictionary) Vision is vital to our faith taking shape; it is fundamental to our existence as believers.
Where there is no vision, the people are unrestrained, But happy is he who keeps the law.
Proverbs 29:18
Vision has eyes to see beyond the natural, because vision sees impossible made possible.
… in the presence of Him whom he believed–God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did;
Romans 4:17
Abraham, the Father of Faith, believed the Word of God. His belief caused his vision to align with God’s Word and therefore, that which was dead, became alive and what did not exist now exists.
Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
Mark 9:23
Your belief (faith) impacts your vision; your vision impacts what you see, what you see is what you will say, because faith has mountain moving vision!
22 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. 23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. 24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
Mark 11:22-24
As you are “Forging Ahead In Trustful Hope”, set your sights on what is True and not what your natural eyes see. Allow the faith’s vision to shape the unseen, as you meditate on God’s Word. Begin to see the mountains of your life moving in agreement to the will of God and see the impossible made possible in your life today!
