2018 Awake Women’s Conference
I am so excited to extend to you an invitation to our upcoming “Awake” Women’s Conference, scheduled for May 4th & 5th. In reviewing all the feedback from our surveys and the many ideas expressed, we are so thrilled to introduce to you our new format for this year’s gathering.
This year’s Women’s conference will begin with a powerful evening of worship on Friday, May 4th from 6:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., which will launch into a teaching and engaging breakout and will conclude with Spirit led ministry and a time of afterglow fellowship. We will resume Saturday morning, May 5th from 8:30 a.m. to noon. Where we will begin the morning in the presence of the Lord in worship then conduct two powerful teachings each followed by a breakout session and conclude our day with personal ministry and then be on our way home by noontime!
Why this new format?
Many requested that:
- We have more time in the presence of the Lord in worship.
- Offer fewer sessions and more breakout conversations.
- Have greater fellowship connects-After the evening & morning sessions, you will have the ability to connect by going out with your friends (new or old) to have dinner or luch or just a coffee at many of the local area restaurants.
- Having the event split up on Friday and Saturday will allow those who work on Saturday to be included.
- A shorter Saturday will allow you the ability to have a good portion of Saturday to care for your other responsibilities or have some meaningful connects with other women.
- Changing the format will allow the women who serve not to miss out on the event sessions.
The conference theme is entitled “AWAKE.” As believers in Christ, we are living in exciting and yet challenging times, as the world is moving at a fast pace. If we are not careful, the pace of this life can consume our focus, energy and resources. So much so, that we then can find ourselves falling asleep spiritually on many different levels. I believe the Spirit of God is sounding the alarm clock in the heavenlies and calling His Bride to be fully awake and responsive to His voice. In these powerful sessions we will explore what it means for us to be:
